'Hyodol was established in 2009 and conducted around 100 consulting and research services. In 2015, we commercialized the AI robot companion, “Sunshine,” targeted at elders living alone. The idea was to provide a companion that offered emotional, physical and safe support. For five years, we did everything in-house from research design to concept creation, product management, marketing, mass-production and sales. From late 2018 to November 2020, it is estimated that 2,200 elders live with “Sunshine”. Purchases were made all over Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Jeonnam and Gangwon from governments, health and welfare centers, nursing hospitals, companies and individuals.
'Sunshine' is a Smart Toy that supports parents' life management such as meal/drug/ventilation/
walking/schedule,dementia and depression prevention,emotional management,emergency
management,and health management 24 hours a day.
